There is no universal “right” age for blepharoplasty. The decision depends on individual factors:

Young patients (20-35 years old): They usually seek blepharoplasty for hereditary bags. In these cases, transconjunctival blepharoplasty is usually the best option.

Middle-aged patients (35-55 years old): The most common group. Present initial to moderate aging-related changes. Excellent candidates with very natural results.

Elderly Patients (55+ years): They can benefit greatly, especially if there is functional compromise. Often require more extensive or combined procedures.

What is important is not the chronological age but the condition of the eyelids and the general health of the patient.
